My conversation with Kim has so many relatable golden nuggets…

People pleasing can be affecting your health

You guys already know what I’m going to say about this and that is …. SELF OBSESSION IN MIDLIFE IS APPROVED. We need to please ourselves first before we can even be fully present and available to everybody else and there is nothing wrong with being selfish when it comes to taking care of our bodies.

It’s a lifestyle- not a diet

Restrictive thinking leads to feeling unsafe. When we start seeing dieting as a lifestyle choice we can look at it as a set of values that follow us everywhere we go.  These values apply whether you are in Italy, or at home for the day catching up on work, and that’s because nothing stays the same in those situations except for YOU. We want seamless transitions from one food situation to the next. This is how we get consistent with our lifestyle and the relationship that we have with our bodies. And remember food should be for fuel!!

Kim's Six Simple Rules

Kim’s book is all about the 6 rules to transform your relationship with food to become your healthiest self. These 6 rules are based in science and designed to help people journey into a normal relationship with food which improves confidence, health and wellbeing (and a little muffin top maybe). Listen to the episode to find out what they are!
