🌿 Invest in Yourself: You’re Worth the Effort
This week is about building trust—with yourself, your body, and yes, even with the universe. One of my favorite mentors, Angela Davis, always says, “Life happens foryou, not to you.” And that’s not just a bumper-sticker quote—it’s a radical mindset shift that can change the way you move through life.
We’ve all been there. Working on something big, something personal—your health, your mindset, your habits—only to stop halfway. Maybe fear got in the way. Maybe life got messy. Or maybe it was just easier to go back to what was familiar. That’s human.
But this week? We’re choosing to keep going.
We're asking: Can I trust that the universe has my back—really?
The Truth About Fear, Food & Freedom
We all carry invisible boundaries that hold us back: fear of change, fear of judgment, fear of discomfort. And sometimes, that fear shows up in our eating habits, in our choices, and in the stories we tell ourselves.
Here’s what I want you to hear loud and clear:
🔸 You are not broken.
🔸 You are not behind.
🔸 And you are allowed to grow without blame.
Your food choices are part of that growth. They are not about guilt or perfection. Food is fuel—not entertainment, not punishment, not a distraction. It’s medicine. It’s love. It’s a choice you get to make again and again.
So ask yourself:
👉 Am I eating to feel better—or eating to be better to myself?
Weekly Challenge: From Fear to Trust
This week, pick one fear and reframe it into trust.
For example:
“If I don’t drink with my friends, they’ll judge me”
→ “My friends support my growth and love me for who I am.”
“If I skip a meal, I’ll lose control later”
→ “I can trust my body. Hunger will guide me. I won’t starve.”
Write it down. Walk those 10,000 steps with it. Sit with it. This is how we shift from survival mode to thriving.
