Thought Spiral? Let’s Fix That 🧠

Can we have a real moment?
Your brain… is loud. Like, really loud.
It’s throwing opinions at you faster than TikTok can scroll, and half the time?
It’s not even being helpful. 🙄

So this week, we’re diving into thoughts. (Not just the fluffy kind, but the ones that sneak in, stir up drama, and convince you that you need that second cupcake when really… you might just need a nap, a hug, or a deep breath.)

Let me ask you something:
When was the last time you noticed a thought before it swept you away like a current?

Most of us don't.
We become the thought. We ride it like it’s the last wave at Venice Beach. 🌊
But what if you could pause, label it, and then… not act on it? 🤯

One of my favorite reminders (and something I teach in The Kim Shapira Method) is this:

“You don’t have to believe everything you think.”
Especially if the thought is trying to soothe discomfort with food, spending, or avoiding stuff that actually matters.

😩 The Pain Points We Don’t Talk About Enough:

  • You eat when you're bored, not hungry.

  • You procrastinate because your brain is whispering “This is too hard.”

  • You keep trying “quick fixes” that leave you right back where you started.

Sound familiar? You’re not broken.
You’re just responding to unexamined thoughts.
This week, let’s fix that.

🧘‍♀️ The Challenge (aka: Your Brain Bootcamp)

Spend 2 minutes a day labeling your thoughts.

Yup. Just 2.

Set a timer and say out loud (or in your head):

  • “Positive thought.”

  • “Negative thought.”

  • “Neutral thought.”

Label it, and don’t follow it.
No judgment. No drama. Just… oh hey, brain. I see what you’re doing there.

Spoiler alert: most thoughts disappear when you call them out.

🍋 Quick Trick: Another Lemon Test

Think of a sour lemon.
Now imagine drinking the juice.
Did your mouth pucker?

That’s the mind-body connection.
One thought → one body response.
Now imagine what happens when that thought is “I’m not enough.” Or “I need food to feel better.”
That’s why food is fuel, not entertainment.
Let’s stop entertaining our feelings with snacks. You’re worth more than that.

💬 One Last Thought…

Your brain wants comfort.
But you?
You want growth.
And growth requires awareness, not perfection.

So this week, we’re not changing all your thoughts.
We’re just getting better at watching them.
Because the real power?
It’s in the pause between the thought and the action.

You got this.
And I got you. 💛
