Eat What You Love...and what loves you.
Rule #2 is Eat What You Love. BUT, let's make sure we're still doing that within the method. Eating only when we're hungry, waiting 15 minutes, and also recognizing when food doesn't love us back. I'm not talking about an extra pound on the scale. I'm talking about allergies and that icky feeling in your stomach after you eat it.
Eat What You Love doesn't mean go wild! It means if you love bacon, eat it. If you love avocado toast, eat it. Don't stress about what your friends say or the commercial on TV. But, still, eat within the method. Don't eat when you're not hungry and don't eat distracted. But also, if food makes you sick, stop eating it, whether you love it or not.
I can speak from experience. I LOVE soy lattes, but I got to a point where I had to decide it wasn't worth it for my body anymore. My brain loved it, but my body always felt sick after. The small amount of deliciousness during the drinking portion wasn't worth the trouble during the digestion period. I had to put my foot down and say no to my brain and yes to my body.
So don't just eat what your brain loves. Eat what your body loves too. The two need to be in tune with each other! If they both like fettuccine alfredo with some garlic bread, then go for it!

This week I am going to ask you to feel your feelings and to challenge your thought patterns. We make all decisions from a place of love or fear.
Leading a healthy lifestyle doesn't have to be so damn complicated. There is a new fad diet every year, and a billion-dollar industry built on your insecurities.
There's no easy way to instantly become a healthier happier person. I'm sure I can't be the first to tell you it's a journey. Once in a while, however, you'll find a shortcut.
